OK, so here is a new song from my band, Quiet Science that I’ve been working on for some time. The name is generally meaningless, Melancholy Zombies, but fun. This was really an exercise in learning Logic 8 and editing samples. It was fun and I nearly like the end result. I tend to take these songs of mine and throw them in a mix with some of my favourite songs I am listening to at the moment and see what it sounds like in juxtaposition to actual songs like Gary Numan’s  Are Friends Electric, Au Revoir Simone’s Knight of Wands, La Roux’s In for the Kill and other impossibly awesome songs. Of course I am setting myself up for sheer disappointment, but it makes me work harder. It faired semi-well  think - at least I cringed a little less than usual.
