Well, this is what I am going to miss when I have to go to a surprise Birthday party in Buck’s County Pennsylvania on the weekend of October 24th. Au Revoir Simone are playing Brooklyn’s Bell House which is literally an 8 min. walk from my place. All I have to do is walk across the Gowanus Canal at the 9th street Bridge and I am there. Oh cruel fates. It is as if some malicious force straight from my 14 year old self’s D&D Monster Manuals is out to thwart any chance I get to see ARS. My chaos familiar who is ruining my music going life, I’ll call him Vudamrach for no good reason, caused me to miss their Bowery Ballroom show in the Spring as well. I need to find an Elven Shaman to remove this curse! (I missed NYS RenFest 2 weekends ago as well!)
