My Funkey - This is an older little arts and craft project I actually did through work and it was awesome fun. It was a basic decorate a vinyl doll contest with all of the designers I work with. Some of the designs were amazing. I did mine based on a computer rendering I saw from the LHC (Large Haydron Super Collider) in Switzerland of a particle collision. I was way into the test run of that and wanted the world to be swallowed by a mini blackhole! (Very silly and statistically impossible - I know.) But I wondered how that computer generated flat model of a multidimensional explosion would look interpreted over a 3D surface. It was done for a charity auction in LA. All proceed went to a Hospital for kids. So it was a good time doing it and for a good cause. Any Funkeys that were unsold would be returned to creator. Well, I fully expected to get the thing back; there was so much talent on display, I was sure mine would be overlooked. I was even looking forward to it so I could display it on a shelf. But, lo and behold, it sold to some woman in Texas online, and for a decent price as well ($280!). He’s called Particle Collision…
